I.C.E.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement was created in 2005 with its powers granted by Congress, with the trust of the American People following the September 11 Terror attacks. The agency bearing that name twenty years later is unrecognizable from its inception. I.C.E. has become a terror organization in its own right. With three times the budget of the United States Marine Corps, I.C.E. is America’s version of Russia’s Wagner Group, an ethically void, state sanctioned cesspool of bigotry and violence.
I stand by a complete dissolution of I.C.E., as that agency name will never again hold the trust lost by the American People. It is undeniable that the Agency, specifically HSI, provides necessary services nationally and internationally to stop trafficking of both People and illicit material. Homeland Security Investigations (HIS), fully separated from Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), should be maintained as its own agency similar to the FBI. ERO should be dissolved entirely.
I support a national mandate that no Federal Law Enforcement Officers may wear masks for the purpose of concealing their face or obfuscating their identity while in contact with any Person. An exception is made when a local, county, or district judge signs a warrant specifically stating the justification for masks in that specific search or arrest.
