Since February of 2022, over three years ago, the People of Ukraine have been martyred by the collective West. Two Presidents have sat in the Oval Office during this period of unprovoked, illegal, and morally bankrupt invasion of a sovereign country, and both have demonstrably failed. We have failed to close the skies over Ukraine, though America and her allies proved with over 99% success, that this is a feasible defense when a coalition of countries did just that for Israel when it was being attacked by over 150 long range drones and 150 missiles in a single night. We have failed to hold Elon Musk accountable for single-handedly choosing to turn off Starlink to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on multiple occasions, because he was concerned about the successful outcome of ongoing operations.

America has fallen into her new global role as a country that overpromises and underdelivers, yet again. For three years, we have done the bare minimum to support Ukraine. We deliver, always too late, just what is necessary to stay in the fight, but not enough to gain fire superiority. Russia’s military has been decimated. Tank storage facilities across the vast country are empty. Military aircraft, air defense systems, and over One Million People have become their casualties.

Yet America cowers. Our President attacks the Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office then invites the internationally wanted war criminal, Vladimir Putin, onto American soil, spitting on the International Criminal Courts warrant, and the tens of thousands of Ukrainian children which Putin is wanted for kidnapping and trafficking into Russia.

Shutting down the sky of an allied nation at its request can in no way be taken as an escalation, and remains entirely defensive in nature. I support this, and supplying Ukraine with increased Patriot missile systems. I also support the delivery of any weapon systems necessary to destroy existing bridges on sovereign Ukranian land, including the Crimean/Kerch Bridge used by Russia to facilitate its genocide.
