Reproductive rights

  • There are few things more heartbreaking than the loss of a child. There are also few things more terrifying and dehumanizing than to have strangers choose what is going to happen to your body. The American system of Gynecology as we know it is fundamentally based on the nonconsensual operations performed on women, first slave women, then all women. If a woman was desired for breeding, then she would be bred, with little regard for her choices or desires. If a woman was deemed ill-worthy to breed, she would have her uterus removed while she slept.

Today in America, State governments, enabled by an apathetic Federal government, are killing women and children at astronomic rates. Women are being forcefully kept in comas, and used as breeding stations, and doctors are being imprisoned for providing evidence-based and peer-reviewed best practices to mothers in distress.

Abortion is an incredibly traumatic and devastating experience for a person or family to go through. Fathers feel that they have no say, no voice, in the very life of their own children. I feel all fathers should have a say, an avenue to have their voices on record, whether they support or disapprove. Fathers should have a voice, but never control over a mothers body or her choices.

There are no current viable methods to safely and successfully transport a fetus from a consenting mother wanting to terminate a pregnancy into a viable donor mother. There is no way in which a victim of rape and incest can regain autonomy of her life, if she is forced to let an act of hate and control grow into life. There is no avenue for tens of millions of women who don’t have the financial freedom to cross state lines if they are bleeding out from a miscarriage, terrified to be pulled over, charged with murder, and taken from her family.

There is no way to legislate abortion without codifying all women as property of the state government. I support women’s absolute right to their Digestive System, Circulatory System, Immune System, Muscular System, Skeletal System, Respiratory System, Nervous System, and Reproductive System.
