See the Fourth Amendment. What a Person feels, who a Person loves, and how a Person identifies is no concern of anyone not invited to that relationship, and no government has a right to control how two consenting adults express themselves physically or emotionally.
The right of unification between two consenting adults in marriage belongs to no singular religion. If a government provides securities, privileges, rights, or benefits to any marriage, it must provide them equally to all marriages.
Non-Heterosexuality is neither new, immoral, unnatural, harmful, nor a choice. So many People today display clothes with Spartan helmets, while stating that Homosexuals shouldn’t be in the military. Politicians will quote Alexander the Great in the same breath as insinuating Bisexual People can’t be leaders. Jealous men will say Lesbians can’t accomplish what they can, while standing under the stars Sally Ride reached.
When People are pulled from bigotry and oppression they thrive. When People thrive, we all benefit.
